Fields of Application:
Bonding: glass, stone, natural stone, concrete, filler, numerous plastics, wood, plywood, trespa, iron, aluminium, zinc, steel, stainless steel and other metals, ceramic tiles, cork and mirrors.
Assembly: plinths, wooden lists, backs, window sills, thresholds, bands, slabs, insulating material, gypsum panels, polystyrene ornaments and borders.
Sealing: inter alia internal applications for (plastic) window frames, steps, skirting boards, window sills, thresholds, plasterboards. Also suitable for sealing cracks in walls and ceilings. Not suitable for polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), PTFE and bitumen.
Preparation:
Conditions of use: use only at temperatures between +5°C and +40°C.
Surface requirements: The surface must be solid, clean, degreased and free from dust. No primer required. The surface may be slightly damp.
Tools: use the cartridge with the gun. If necessary, use a rubber mallet for fastening.
Applications:
Usage: for point gluing: 5-8 m²/kg. Strips: about 8-15 meters of glue come out of one cartridge (depending on the cutting diameter of the nozzle).
How to use:
Gluing and assembly: cut the nozzle to a diameter of at least 0.5 cm.
Sealing: cut the nozzle crosswise according to the width of the joint.
Gluing and assembly: apply the glue in strips or pointwise (on 10-40 cm) and always at the corners and along the edges of the slabs. Apply the material within 10 minutes to the desired location and press firmly or tap gently with a rubber mallet. Tighten or secure heavy materials for 4 hours as needed. Hand fixing is completed after 30 minutes (the structure is now strong enough to be transported or subjected to a light load); the maximum final bonding strength is reached after about 4 hours, depending on the bonding surface and environmental conditions.
Sealing: Apply the glue evenly up to the base of the joint and smooth within 10 minutes with the help of a damp spatula (lemon-free soapy water) or a finger. Smooth vertical joints from bottom to top. Full hardening occurs after a few days (depending on the thickness of the layer). When overpainting with alkyd paint, the paint may dry more slowly.
Stains/Residues: use white spirit to clean tools and eliminate wet glue residues. Dried glue residues can only be removed mechanically.
Points of attention: drying times may vary depending on the glued material and the thickness of the glue layer.
Drying times*:
Leather time: approx. 10-15 minutes
Can be used after: approx. 30 minutes
Curing time: approx. 2mm/24 hours
Final strength: maximum bond strength after approx. 4 hours
*Drying times may vary depending on the environmental conditions and the characteristics of the materials used.
